Daisy Peasblossom Fernchild is my on-line pen name. I selected the name for an AD&D character for a family table-top game. The character was a vegetarian druid, devoted to healing, care of small children and animals. She had a donkey, two large meat-eating wolf-hounds (yes, the contradiction was deliberate) and somewhere through the course of the evening’s gaming, acquired a gaggle of orphans.

In real life, I am a grandmother. I have three children and seven grandchildren. I have been a waitress, a carpenter’s gofer, a librarian and a teacher. I have for many years tried to break into writing. I’ve been writing on-line for various small internet publishers for two years. Sometimes I think I’ve made it into the writing world, sometimes I despair of ever climbing that particular Everest.
